Update: Diamond C is confirming if I will be getting 6000lb 18ply super singles, then I am trying to see if they have an option for a 3 inch coupler so I dont have to change balls on my truck mounted hitch.

If its all too much, I might settle for a 16k Sure Trac.

On edit: just got email from DC.
Tires will be 215/75R 16 ply
No 3” coupler :(

Also found out DC dump trailer doesnt come with a tarp. Its an option. Good thing I asked..... $300 more added to the estimate.

Now, do I wait 3 months for a custom build DC or take a lighter duty Sure Trac off the lot next month?

That's a tough decision. Do you need the 20k gvw or can you get by with 16k?

That's what bugs me about DC, derating the axles with 4800lb tires:mad: I think the 3" ball hitch is a square tube, so yeah, probably not.

Need lots of other things, too. The 3K in savings would really help with those needs. The Payload of the Sure Trac is 11K (5-1/2 tons) I would be carrying 10 round bales @ 900lbs/each. Thats 9,000 pounds, so thats not a problem, but 5&1/2 tons of stone or fill dirt is not a very large amount. Really would like a 7 ton payload to utilize the capacity of the RAM a little more. Also would think the DC would be more durable....
This sucks.
Maybe go all the way back to a load trail with 3 8k's? :ashamed::confused3:

Call load trail and see what they can come up with..........

Probably another clueless dealer who doesn’t seem to know 1/2 as much as the 5-10 of us in this thread
Theres absolutely nothing at any dealer.

I did actually manage to find a Load Trail dealer about 120 miles from me who knows what he is talking about. I speced out a 8x16 Load Trail 3)8k oil bath axles.

Without question, Load Trail offers the most options I have ever seen. VERY impressive. 6 different couplers, 7 gauge floor option, telescoping hoist, even a wet bolt kit!
Also have a PJ quote coming.

My guess is the LT and PJ will be about $2k cheaper than the DC.

I looked at both PJ and load trail only the load trail salesman got back to me so I went with load trail......

How is the paint job holding up? I hear that’s their Achilles heel.
Have any pictures of it?
