There is a little ice there, how come you aren’t ice fishing. You live quite a bit south and west of me but guessing by what the weather is here, it’s frozen over now.

Pretty close to 230-250 hours I believe not counting additional time putting tracks back on, cutting logs, multiple stuck situations, etc.

That's a lot of time commitment. Good job!

Not much for changes here other than the bitter cold. I did install a barrel feeder outside of our living room between the house and pond a few weeks ago. The deer have found it already and the turkeys have been using it the most. This morning we had two turkeys come right up to the living room door and was able to snap some pics before they saw me. Must have been curious what all of the song birds were eating outside the house. Here are a few pics.

Believe it or not, yesterday I counted 72 turkeys in my backyard (they come within 10' of the house).
I must be somewhat careful where I walk, to avoid stepping in the wrong place.
I have seen as many as 39 before, but nothing like 72.
I live only about 900' from a one thousand acre Audubon wildlife Sanctuary.

How about a snow photo of Lake Corona? It would really help us see all the contours of the hillsides.
hugs, Brandi

We've been seeing anywhere from 10 to 15. Nothing like your numbers.

Everything at the moment has about 5" of snow over it. Can't really see much in a pic other than white.

I guessing you have a heck of a telephoto lens.

500mm on a Nikon full frame camera. Wish I still had my DX camera body for the 1.5x crop factor. Most of these pics were right outside my door. The turkeys were actually looking in the living room.

Last year was our first Winter in our new house. Wildlife had trouble comprehending that we were living there. Had a Buck Deer scrape his antlers on the porch pillar. This Winter they have realized we might be dangerous. Everything is much more cautious about coming close. We still have plenty of visitors. Just not up on the porch. :)

:D That's a good one!
When we first built, and had a house dog who marked 'his' territory around our yard close to the house, we had a fox challenge those boundaries. It was about this time of year with heavy snow so we could see the red fox tracks circle the house daily, re-marking his posts close to our landscaping. Our dog would visit each place and pee at the same spots. It was all fun and games until the fox took a dump on our front porch right in front of the door. He must have figured he needed to pull out the big guns to run off our pesky dog.

Lake Corona will be a busy place in the spring. A wood duck house would likely attract a nesting pair - seems like a perfect location.
