Incorrect. Mid-PTO is an option on all Grand L models. Not available on the economy L models.

Assuming you're in Marietta, GA you're a 40 min drive to the Yanmar assembly plant in Adairsville, and a 1hr drive to the Kubota assembly plant in Gainesville, GA. John Deere plant is near Augusta, GA.

Trying to keep track of where tractors are made is getting pretty hard. I have some JD equipment they can only say on the plate that is 舖sembled in USA" and when you look at the parts its mostly .......china!. " I look at the ''manufacturing plants" with a degree of scepticism thinking they may be just assembly plants for overseas components.

With that in mind I am looking at the JD3046R (or down in Australia the 3045R for whatever reason??) but the 3100B Yanmar I have now is the same as a 2 series john deere and I am noticing a lot of similarity with the 3046R and the yanmar YT359. When you say Yanmar have built complete JD tractors do you know if any of the current line up is all yanmar (engine is a given)

I don't believe any of the current line up of John Deere's are built from the ground up by Yanmar. However, Yanmar built the 770/870/970 series John Deere's and has built nearly every under 50hp Diesel engine for them for 30+ years.

Interesting you find similarities with the 3046R and the YT359. The new Yanmar YT series are completely new designs unrelated to any Deere's that I'm aware of.
