I am buying a used 2004 Toolcat with a 68" bucket, 72" mower, 7.5' snow plow, full cab with heat and air and less than 800 hours for $27,000 delivered.

Bobcat just put new axles on it last week.

Looks great, but why were new axles installed with so few hours?

I second what bczoom said, keep us informed. Ever since I found out about that machine on this board I've had a secret love affair with it or at least, the idea behind it. It just seems capable of doing so many things. I'm jealous.

What would one of these cost new? Great looking outfit. The heat and air would be great too!! If that mower is 72", that is a big machine.

I too have always thought what a great idea, but at Bobcat industrial strength, makes them a bit pricey for my budget.

How much do they weigh?

Does the A/C blow cold enough? Is there any kind of filter on the A/C system to operate in dusty conditions?

Go have some fun with it and then give us a full report!

I used one last year to move washed stone from the street to around a house. Never operated one before, and had yard trees, lot line, house, landscape bushes, flowers, etc. to get around and NOT damage. It was very easy to operate, and very comfortable and very capable.

I think you will like it a lot.

Being able to have all-wheel-steer (or not) was great, when trying to get around tight spaces and not mess up a lawn. It was very gentle on the lawn.

Will be interested in what you experience with yours. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hi Kyle,

This whole thing started when I went looking for a new Kubota RTV. ALL the dealers around me charged MSRP. If you price a Worksite RTV with a full & complete cab, heat, air(?), lights, sound system, hydraulic package in the front, etc., at MSRP, there is not that big of a price difference. They also made me feel like they were doing me a favor by selling to me. 1 year old demo models were still more expensive than what many here could buy for new.

The Toolcat has more space, power, capacity, implement options in the front, A LOADER & 4 wheel steer. It still has a Kubota engine, only twice as powerful as a RTV.

I hope to rent some implements from the local Bobcat Skidsteer dealer only a few miles away. I still want to buy a set of forks, and a grapple bucket for the front.

Dave,
Great looking Toolcat but be careful with this eBay sale. I noticed that this is the first item that this person has sold on eBay (did sale actually go thru eBay), also he has changed his user ID 4 times in a short period. Another thing is that he did not list the machine serial number in his auction so that you could check it out with Bobcat. He may have the machine but ask to see the original bill of sale and check it out with Bobcat.
Everything is probably legit, but be careful, scamers can be real believable especially when this amount of money is involved.

That is a VERY nice machine! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gifI was able to check one out at my towns annual AG Fair, but it was also a VERY expensive machine /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Make sure to post some progress pics.

That is a very nice machine, I hope that everything is legit but If it's not be very careful, do not send, wire, or hand anyone a dime until you have the machine and you have Bobcat run the serial numbers on it to make sure it doesn't have a lean on it or that it's stolen. You could take it to a Bobcat dealer down the road and the first thing they will do is check the serial number and they could say "thanks for bringing our machine back, we have been looking for it"

On Monday I was quoted $27,938 for a new 2005 turbo charged 56 hp model. That included the 68" bucket as well. Bobcat is offering free cab with heat and A/C right now. That's about $4500 off of the normal charge for the unit with the cab, heat, and A/C.

The seller happens to be a Artic Cat snowmobile dealer. He is getting out of his business and selling his inventory of new & used items.

He is also a Packer Backer & hates the Vikings - can't be all bad /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Dargo,
Did this quote include either the 26 gpm high flow hydrolics ($1050 Option) or the road lighting package ($1575 Option). I was quoted 33K for the 5600T with these options, so your price was excellent either way.
Which dealer was this?
I drove the Toolcat today and it was awesome to say the least...I am new to tractors and these utility vehicles but after driving both and not having yet been infected with
