Sounds like you have a button or switch on your "aux" you hold while operating loader. That's how diverters usually work vs a true power beyond set-up. The diverter is directing flow from your loader to the grapple. Diverter set up can only operate one function at a time. A suggestion... Does your "aux" button have a hold position ? Could be the button is reversed in operation. Another thought is ...Could be a simple matter of changing the switch or button from a momentary to a latching or hard switch. You will have to switch it off to use the loader normally. OR A foot switch to activate the aux, while you operate the loader by hand..
There is nothing electrical about my diverter!
I do not have an "aux button", The diverter is purely a mechanical mechanical selection.....push/pull
One position (in) allows flow to any attachment (grapple).
The other position (out) directs flow to the SSQA cylinder, and is only used when changing attachments.
My diverter has no hydraulic connection with the loader function itself.
The loader, and the diverter function operate independently.
