Buying MX6000 Cab

Well thanks everyone for your comments and feedback. I have to decided to purchase the Grand L6060 with these options. Let me know what I am missing. Dealer has to order most items.

Block Heater, He told me it is a kubota branded heater, but no the CCV unit. Just plug it in like a Diesel truck
Rim Guard
Rear Wiper
Rear Defrost - not sure if I need the rear quarter glass defrosters
HD Altenator
Third Function for Grapple
3 Rear Remotes, 2 DBl Acting and 1 Float
HD Bucket with Cutting Edge ( Although they are trying to get me to use the standard bucket )
This unit has the R4's They claim that is all they sell and no need for R14's I originally wanted the R14's but he said it will be way more and no advantage

What do you think, I don't have any plans for a front mount Snow Blower so I didn't opt for the Mid PTO, do you think I should get it anyway?

Attatchments I will pick up elsewhere They seem to be so expensive from dealer. and I have no issue with used either.

So I will need:
Pallet Forks
72" Box blade
Root Grapple
Offset Flail mower
so any recommendations on those would be great.

The rear defrost and rear wiper are just “bolt together and plug in” options. I installed mine. The rear defrost is actually a new glass window with the heat element film. You swap the hardware over. Can do the wiper motor at the same time. Tractor is pre wired for all of these.

Just mentioned cause you’ve been trying to save some $$ around the edges. If you can buy the kit and save some cash on these it’s worth it.

Let the dealer do the hydraulics and the rest. I added a 3rd function and rear remotes to my used tractor, but on a new tractor I’d rather have the dealer do it so there’s no questions later if a problem develops.

Otherwise, Go for it! Sounds good!

What about work lights? Rear lights used to be optional.

Tiger Lights has some bright LEDs that mount using OEM brackets. Might consider doing those yourself too or at least comparing pricing.

Another no-brainer to install yourself either way and not pay dealer shop costs.

Just watch Marketplace for attachments. Don’t be in a rush.

I wouldn’t worry about a mid- point PTO. Just my opinion.

I would STRONGLY suggest the single lever hydraulic disconnect for the loader. View attachment 3363772

Wow! That looks like some expensive hardware. I’ve never seen those on a tractor in person.

You must remove your entire loader frequently. I only drop mine once or twice per year. Removed it the other day for maintenance, but it only took a few minutes. This would only help with reattaching the hydraulic lines —right?

Honestly, as long as I keep my lines marked clearly, I can connect them using the quick-connects pretty easily.

Yes, I always drop the loader frame when using a rear implement that won’t need a loader, such as tiller or mower. It makes it much more nimble.
Sometimes multiple times in a day. It literally takes a few minutes. No comparison to wrestling with 6 quick connects, especially if any have back pressure.
Part of the reason I drop the loader so often is that it is so quick and easy to do.

WOW again! I just drop the bucket or forks to lose extra weight but leave the loader frame on 99% of the time.

It’s interesting to learn how we use similar equipment differently! Thanks for the explanation.

It’s actually quicker for me to attach the loader frame than a bucket. I can’t say enough about what a game changer the quick connect is.

Great choice! You won't be disappointed with the L6060. It's been around since 2013 and has an excellent reputation.

I added the side window defrosters when ordering mine. They come in handy while removing snow.

I passed on the block heater since I keep the tractor indoors.

Dealer talked me out of the mid PTO since I have no immediate plans to use it. It can easily be installed later if necessary. Also talked me out of the R14's. Too expensive and not much advantage over the R4's.

I bought a Blue Diamond grapple from the dealer with a package price that I couldn't match elsewhere. It's worth asking anyway. I bought a Maschio offset flail from Iowa Farm Equipment. Even with shipping to the east coast, the price was $2k less than the dealer quote. Picked up a used set of CA forks on FB Marketplace.

Hope you have the same good luck with yours as I've had with mine!
