I have 3 acres of mostly all flat ground to mow. Only 6 trees to mow around. My 14hp wheelhorse has a 48" deck. I also pull a 8hp craftsman finishing mower with an offset hitch behind me. It has a 42" cut. This gives me a 7' cut with a 6" overlap between the two mowers. It takes me about 2.5 hours to cut my grass. MY wheelhorse is a manual shift, 3 forward 1 reverse, hi/lo range. 3rd gear is to fast, so I have to mow in 2nd gear. Which is somewhat slow. Thats why I would like to move up to the BX hydros.
