Mowing BX 22 Mower Setup Question

Hello.
Thanks for everyone's help. The Bar tires and the turfs are ordered and the tractor will be delivered in the morning.

The dealer called me and asked about setting up the 60 in mmm. He said they were having problems getting the deck adjusted with the back hoe on the tractor. He said it would setup fine with the hoe off, but when the hoe was installed some of the 3 point hitch arms or something to the effect would hit. Does anyone know if the backhoe would interfere with the correct adjustment of the 60 in mmm?

Granted I have no plans to mow with the backhoe on or the front loader on either, but I thought I had read something somewhere about the BX 22 that none of the attachments caused any inteference with each other.

Anyone know anything about this?

The point the dealer was trying to make I guess was he could set the mower up right with the backhoe on or off but not correctly at the same time.

Something is out of wack here. I had my BX22 delievered with the FEL,BH, and MMM on. I even tried out the MMM with the FEL and BH on. No interference then. I'd check the tractor real good to make sure everything is straight on it and there was no damage done during shipping. Good luck!

I only have a 2200 but from what I can see on the bx22 which is not that different, is that you should be able to mow if you wanted to. Sounds like a sub-frame or something like that may be out of place or there might be a shield for one of the shafts that is a bit out of place.

The lift arms on the back of the tractor are "happier" when left in the up position when the hoe is on. These move when you raise and lower the MMM. My recommendation is not to have the MMM on the tractor or use it when the hoe is installed...other than for convenient transportation.

Please also be aware that the MMM needs to be setup slightly differently for the bar tires as opposed to the turfs as the former are slightly larger in diameter. The MMM will rub on the bar tires when fully raised if it's setup as it would be for the turfs. Since you are buying both tires, you need to decide which way you want it set up. If you will never use the bars for mowing, than the setup can be for the turfs. But if you may need to mow with the bars on...the front attachment will need to be setup accordingly.

Thanks. you opinion seems to echo that of the guys setting up the tractor, I was hoping you would read my question and let me know what you thought. With you having a BX 22 also I thought you would know something about what the dealer was saying.

The tractor was delivered on Saturday morning without incident. What a great machine, very capable, just how powerful remains to be determined when it is properly broken in.
