BX 22 with Tiny Tach

I was running my 2200 today. Cold start (90* outside) it ran at 1300 at idle.

Can't help you on full as I've not run it there yet.

I mowed some with my MMM and 1900 does fine for me (lawn type grass). Loader and 52" tiller do fine at that speed as well. When I get 50+ hours, I'm hoping to get more umph in my box blade.......

I use my Tiny Tach all of the time. I engage my PTO at 2000 RPM and I usually run my MMM and Tiller at 3100 RPMs, which is less than full throttle.

540 rear PTO speed = 3068 engine RPMs.
2500 mid PTO speed = 3125 engine RPMs.

The tiny tach in a magnetic pickup type deal. You bolt the sensor over an injector line and wire it to the Tiny Tach and your battery.

I have no clue how it works, but it seems to.................. Magic I guess.

It has a transducer that goes around one of the injector lines, and it senses the pulse when fuel is forced into the cylinder. So I guess it would be electronic... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
