the bolts i used are 1-1/4 in. long, they should have been 1-1/2 in. long and they would have come all the way through the self locking nuts, but they seem to be long enough to hold.

Thanks to everyone for all the pictures and comments on how to do this. As you know, the turnbuckles are a PITA.

Last week I sent an e-mail to Carver Equipment and asked if they had the parts, and the price. Terry Giles and Steve Carver both replied right away. They had the parts.

FedEx delivered them today. $53.25 for the parts, shipping and NC sales tax.

It sure is nice doing business with Carver. They appreciate your business, and demonstrate it every time I called them for parts or service.

I ordered the parts today from my dealer, Industrial Equipment, and their price was almost identical, at about $60 for the whole shebang....

An update, based on the feedback from Milkman and Walt, I replaced the bolts with 7/16 x 1 ½ " bolts, grade 8, with self locking nuts and two flat washers, Sears Hardware had a great selection. I had to drill the plate on the tractor to get the 7/16 bolt to fit. Other then that, all 4 bolts worked great. The movement on the 3 pt is considerably less then using the same hardware from the turnbuckle. I am ready for the 6 inches of snow tonight with the new snow blower. Thanks guys for the help.

I took the parts list sombody posted here to my 'Bota dealer and had them order the part. I'm making the switch from turnbuckle to telescoping!
How much duck tape do I need? I only have 2 60' rolls remaining.

You know, you guys are terrible. Ya cost me 60 bucks right before thanksgiving and I didn't even get a chance to put them on yet.
The dealer knew exactly what I wanted, he walked in the back came out with the arms, 2 of the bolts and three pins, already had the other 2 bolts. ( how did he know that it wouldn't take me long to loose one of those pins?!)
If i'm not movin snow tonight the drill and the die grinder are comin out to help make the day easier.

Thanks gents

Tony
