Thanks for the info. I've heard that these turnbuckles can bend rather easily. I guess I'll have to look at your setup if that ever happens.

Walt, Referance your note on the lower lift balls being tight,
Put in a bolt the same size as the pin, back it up with something heavy, hit the bolt with a large hammer (2 lb) do the same with the bolt inserted the other way, then do the same on the other ball.
Solved my problem at about 50 hours.

It's a shame that Kubota didn't equip the BX with like this, I took your idea and applied it to my BX also. Here is a picture of how I did it.

Jim:
I took some posted advice from this spring, and used paint remover to loosen them up. One is loose, the other is semi-loose. I will give your method a try on the latter.

Thanks:
Walt

Walt, I have to thank you for this great idea...I just recently wrestled my 3pt onto my BX22 and the stock adjusters were just a pain in the butt. I printed out your post that included the instructions for reference and plan on making this mod for my machine, too. Thanks again for sharing!

Msocko3,

Did you have to make any changes to get them to fit, was it a bolt on with no cutting? What did you do different from WALT's set up? Have you tried it, and is so how does it work?

Thanks

Tom

I've been using them all summer either with my drawbar or my 48"KK rotary cutter and they work great. The only thing I did different was to not slot the end which hooked to the plate that is on the tractor and use the clevises which the old adjusters had on them. I instead drilled 2 new holes and used just the pins that the cleveses had in them to attache the flat bars to the tractor. I think my picture shows the difference. I think either way you will be very pleased with the changes. I know it has made my life much better.

Thanks for the update, I have the parts on order. Did you have to cut the end of the bar, or did changing the location of the pins on the tractor take care of it?

Only cutting I had to do was on the tubular bar where it connected to the 3pt bottom arms so I could attach it to the same mounting location as the other adjusters.
