BX 2200 Transmission problems

The BX22TLB has only a 2 year warranty with NO ADDITIONAL YEAR FOR POWERTAIN (not yelling just stressing /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

When I was looking at the first BX22 my dealer got, he told me that Kubota first considered a two year warranty for "homeowner" use and only a 6 month warranty for "commercial" use, and that all the dealers objected because they expected to sell a lot of those to nurseries, landscapers, etc. and didn't think they'd sell very well with only a 6 month warranty. At that time, he still wasn't sure which way Kubota was going to go. Of course, that's just what one dealer told me, so I don't know whether he was right or not.

The book does say for BX, B & L series tractors BASIC warranty-24mos/1500 hours and POWERTRAIN warranty 36mos/2000 hours. I forgot about the Powertrain warranty, nice to know that!

I went to the Kubota USA site and the warranty for the BX22 is for 2 years...... then further down, it says that the warranty for the BX series is 3 years on the drive train..... Considering how it is worded on the website, I think that you could make a good argument for the 3 year drive train warranty because it doesn't specifically EXCLUDE the BX 22 in that block of information.

If you go to the warranty itself that is shown on the website, it says:
