hey all,
just did the 50 hr last nite. she was right at 49.9 hrs. it was a pain in the butt. maybe it was just me. the things i learned that ill share with new owners.
i had to take off the side and front covers to get at the oil filter. if i had a socket type filter wrench, i wouldnt of had to. the engine took 3 quarts with new filter to be full. that was the easy part. as far as the trans, this was the hemoriod. my drain pan wouldnt fit between the rear tires. i had to jack up and remove the trans strainer side tire. drained the oil and got the filter replaced. then i removed the strainer and only had a few shavings but had to move my blocks to get it out. when adding the new super udt fluid i had to cut a 14inch piece of garden hose for my funnel and i used the top link snap bracket to hold the hose. this worked great. it took all 3 gallons. and also buy the fliud in 1 gallon containers. it is easier to pour. when pouring , pour the container sideways and it wont drip. other than that everything was fine. the things ill change for the next service:
1. get a socket type filter wrench for the engine.
2. get an skinnier drain pan.
3. keep my garden hose funnel extension
have fun, hope this helps
