He's the youngest of the two (12yrs in that picture a couple years ago) and definately way cooler than the old man. Has the old man's Peter Frampton hair which he stole from me a couple years ago

Wax, you've got a pretty good sized canopy, if you sodded the top you would be close to carbon neutral IMHO, and feel much better about muckin' around in the back yard . . .

By the way, what's the grand plan (& no, I'm not a closet waxer, I only use Johnson's baby shampoo & cotton balls)

That is my sandbox for the Kubota if the view was larger you would see the 2x12 frame around it with seats on the four corners.

It's always wet back there, I'm going to taper the land like a 30 /40 ft crater with a 10 ft hole in the middle so all the water will collect there instead of the whole area being wet, That is why I was digging to dry out the area , all the water went into the hole/
In the summer I'll have a 10 ft mud hole and raise pet moquettes.
In the spring I'll have a 30 ft pond
In the winter a 40 ft skating rink.
There is just no way for the water to drain away from that area so maybe I can reduce the size of the wet area and have a small pond.
4 ft down there is water year round. I guess I'm just playing around and will see what happens.

There may be a way to maintain a static water level within reason year round - if there is, you will have a nice pond after your efforts. Wish I had the room & conditions to do the same. As for the "moquettes" ?? that is what I use to line the floor pan on my BX . . ? the only time I raise them is when they get stuck to my boots . . . or maybe my french is getting rusty
