Here is a pic of the 2710 attachment brackets used on the 2200. I had to cut similar diameter pipe in three pieces to space the brackets where they needed to be. It would have turned out better if I hadn't used a threaded piece, but it was free and stainless. I think I can live with the threads. Overall, it turned out like I had hoped. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Rossco,
thanx for pic. One question: on my BX22 the lower link pins (the shafts this stuff mounts on) are two pieces with a gap between to facilitate sliding the lower links on. A plate & stopper pin hold the lower links in place. Don't know if your BX is the same, but I assume it is. Do all your pieces just slide on? If so, how do you lock the last piece you slide on to keep it from just sliding off? Or do you have to remove one of the lower link pins to take everything apart? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Inquiring mind needs to know!

The BX22 might have a different setup due to the backhoe attachment. On the 2200, the round stock is a solid piece that goes from one side of the frame to the other. It is held in place on each side by plates that bolt onto the outside of the frame on each side. To totally remove the round stock, you would have to remove the left rear tire. All these pieces including the lower arms just slide onto the stock and you have enough room to do this by removing the left frame plate (two bolts) and sliding the stock towards the left side. The stock setup just has a wide piece of metal that fits around the stock to seperate the lower arms and is pinned in the middle to keep it from coming off. The stock turnbuckles then attach to this piece. Hope this helps.

On mine, to install the lower links, you put the link end into the gap between the pins and slide it to the left or right. The center plate (with pin) then holds them in position. This process doesn't require tools. I'll bet the lower links and stock center plate are the same for both BX's, just the process is different. I don't think your modification would work on my tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Do one of the round stocks slide out? If so, you might be able to adapt the 2710 pieces, but probably wouldn't be able to remove everything as quickly when you want to use your hoe.

Rossco,
The round pins are removable, but only if I disassemble stuff. In addition, I'm afraid one of the 2710 pieces would line up with the gap between the pins and not be very secure. I guess I'd be better off to stick with the stock center plate and use clevises or quick links to attach the new adjustors to it. This would still allow independent vertical adjustments, (the main reason for my questions - I have the 2710 adjustor parts ordered, expecting them any day!) Thanks for your input.
