Well...I'm impressed! Thanks much for posting.

I wonder how one of those would look on the GC2300...hmmm...

A very nice job indeed. The machine looks like a perfect fit for your uses. Good to see you don't live in a plastic house, shingles are only a little more work in the long run and they make the house so much more pleasing to the eye. BTW, I didn't notice your DEP discharge permit number posted in any of the pics, ONLY KIDDING /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.
Thats a nice field across the street, yours?
I spent a lot of time, many years ago, under 195 in the coles river, is the rope swing still there? And the Venus, oh my.
Enough of my tangency, it's a good job you've done. Keep up the good work and the pics of course.
Best of luck,
Martin

I stopped at my local Kubota dealer today and got talking to the Kubota rep who happened to be there also. He said the biggest problem Kubota just addressed to their dealers this week concerns after market backhoes and warranty repairs. In a nut shell, if something on the tractor related to the use of an after market back hoe breaks, the dealer is to refer the customer to the after market manufacturer for any potential warranty relief.

This can really pit the Kubota Corporation, Woods, and the selling dealer against the customer if and when something breaks. If the dealer installed the aftermarket product, and then there is a question of warranty claim for a damaged item on the tractor, how is the dealer going to address this? If he sides with his customer and tries to get Kubota to pay for the repair, and they don't, who does he go to next? The logical progression is to Woods, which might say that it is either a Kubota defect or abuse. If the Kubota dealer told me this, then I would be looking to the installing dealer to pay for the repairs out of his own pocket. Needless to say, that usually doesn't happen. I wouldn't want to be in this situation under any circumstances where all parties involved are pointing the finger to the other to pay for the repairs while I am sitting on the side line waiting for me machine to be repaired and not have to pay for that repair. In short, what Kubota is saying is that adding a Woods backhoe to a Kubota product essentially limits or voids the warranty. It will be interesting to see how Woods is going to address this problem that can dramatically impact there sales of the units. I know that I would be looking for some assurance of warranty over and above just a warranty for what Woods has provided for the portion that they manufactured. Since the backhoe shares the same hydraulic system as the hydro, how will the dealers deal with a hydro failure??? More questions than answers, but it is an important thing to think about if you are planning on purchasing a new Kubota and adding the Woods backhoe to it. For the small difference in price, I can see where the BX22/23 is going to be the better alternative for the future resale of the tractor.

Thanks for all the pix! What a nice job you did on the drainage /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif There are few better things you can do that help to keep the house dry than getting the water away from the foundation. I looked at the Woods for my Case DX 24E, it's good to get a field report on it's abilities. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
