I had a Kubota mounted catcher for my BX2200--it worked fine but the capacity was way too small for my yard. After using the Trac Vac I can't envision ever using a tractor mounted catcher again.
I have a Cyclone Rake which I use on my BX22 & 60MMM- with 1.5 acres of lawn (and leaves) there is no question about it - I would never ever go to a bagger that attatches to a tractor. The cyclone rake mulches the grass and leaves "after" being cut by the MMM so its processed twice - coupled wih the fact you have three size carts to choose from (I have the middle one) I can cut a fair amount of lawn / leaves before I have to dump. Every fall I look at my lawn and smile thinking of the days I used to use a leave blower - best dag money I have ever spent....outside of the BX that is!
Since the bagger on my bx24 is a POS any thick leaves Ill rake into large piles then pull the boot off the deck, turn the rear PTO ON and use a 10" drain tile to go from the top of the shoot to the back of my dump truck then rack the leaves into the tube. Works pretty good! just get a few stares from passers by.
