when i bought my 7500 there was only a 1,600.00 difference in the 2. my big factors we the ground clearance\ bigger 3-point lift capacity\ r-4 tires and the better ability to handle a rear mount mower. tested both and was sold on the 7500

No, actually I'm a very happy Grey market Yanmar Dealer. If you guys want a quality tractor for half the price of your Kubota or John Deere....Let me know /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Maybe you guys should try a KIOTI "The Affordable ORANGE tractor"

LAUGH even if it hurts!!

Re: BX22 Vs B7500: The New Question?

Hey, Red, I've got my second Kubota, I'm a bit partial to them, but I'm not hung up on brand loyalty on much of anything. If I find a better deal on another brand I'll go for it. Register and join the group. You may notice that we have a few members who own Kiotis. In my particular area, I've never seen one and wouldn't even know where to find a dealer if I wanted one. And the same holds about true for Yanmar. I'll bet I haven't personally seen more than a half dozen Yanmar tractors of any model in my life. (Of course, I've seen lots of those green tractors with Yanmar engines/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif).

Wow! Thanks for all the free advise. I was hoping to get a response or two but this is great. I plan on test driving some time next week. There is are Kubota, JD & NH dealers within an hour from my place and I plan on trying the two orange machines and the others just for comparison. I plan on a purchae after new year (waiting for my bonus!) Hey, does anyone have a dovetail on their trailer? Is it very useful? I plan on buying a trailer also.

I'll post my impressions after the test rides. Thanks again for all the input.

Re: BX22 Vs B7500: The New Question?

Actaully looked at the Kioti, and a few other "non big three" and still bought a kubota. The others just didn't have the same "comfort features". Try to find HST on a small Koiti....

dtmarion,
I own a B-7500 and thinks it the greatest thing in the world, others have BX and think the same thing. Bottom line you have to consider everything this includes looks and perception. Regaurdless of which you choose it will be a considerable amount of your money and you and you alone need to be happy with your decision. Both tractors are very good and capable pick the one you like the best even if it comes down to simply which one looks the best after all I know there is a many of automobiles purchased on looks alone. Have fun and enjoy your tractor be sure to post pictures when you make your purchase.

Well said, I think this is the best way to settle the B7500 BX2200 debate once and for all.

Optimism, I like it/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif But, I bet the glass is half full as long as the Grand Exalted Ruler of BXDoom is on the throne.

Re: BX22 Vs B7500: The New Question?

I saw some of those Kioti's at a tractor show. They do look nice if only a bit rough around the edges--kinda like comparing a Hyundi to a Toyota or Honda. They do not seem to have a full range of models either and I did not see any hydros. They do look like capable units though-- most to big for residential use--my opinion. I saw two tractor trailers loaded with them pull off to a road not far from where I live and I suspect a new dealer (or an old dealer) nearby is picking them up as a new line.
Why do they have to copy cat Kubota including the exact color--I think a nice yellow or deep red or even chartruse would be nice and even help their brand identity cuz 9 times out of 10 most people just think they are a Kubota which only helps Kubota"s brand recognition---not Kiotis. What's a Yanamar other than a JD engine source??--I know--I know--just kidding. J

the 7500 is a small tractor and built like a larger tractor. the bx is a large lawnmower with some tractor options the bx is ok but the 7500 is better built.
