It has the la 210 front end loader mounts on it,so it did have one at one time. You are missing a loader,a back hoe and a grill gaurd ,which are standard features.

Since He's missing everything that makes it a BX23 that means he's not really getting a BX23.
I sure wouldn't not want to put my money into a hack job.

This deal is whack. You're looking at a used tractor.

ALL BX## are TLB's. Without them it's a BX###0.

So, it has a front blade, turf tires and a bagger?

Thanks for the replies everyone.

- I did give a serial number to a Kubota service guy yesterday, waiting on his call with whatever records they have.
- The tractor is being sold by an authorized Kubota dealer
- I don't care that it doesn't have a backhoe. Maybe I will in the future, but for now, I need a tractor that will perform a set of tasks and using BH is not one of them.
- It does come with a 60" MMM and the shoot attachment for the grass catcher.

My googling revealed that this unit was auctioned at IronPlanet in April configured as it sits now. I do not think it's stolen, hot or such. I think perhaps the implements were stolen, sold, repoed, I don't know. I am certain folks here purchased used implements without much thought as to why they were being sold. As someone said, I am looking at a used Kubota. It has a couple implements I need, low hours, and what I believe to be an OK price. Sorry, I am not a purist in terms of it being a BX23 vs BX2230.

As fellow TBN members your friends on here are trying to protect you...Good luck with your purchase.

There's really no reason to think there's anything screwy about the deal. The previous owner may have sold the loader and backhoe simply because he decided he didn't need it or something. Maybe it came from an estate and the sellers didn't even know there was a backhoe for it somewhere in the barn... Maybe Iron Planet sold them seperately. Who knows? Stranger things have happened.

Curious as to whether or not the Backhoe subframe is still there?? If I remember correctly the Brush guard and FEL had to be removed to mount the blade. You might locate the previous owner and find the loader and BH are sitting around somewhere and are available for a real deal! Iron Planet may still have them on their yard.

Compare the price to that of a similarly used BX2230. If it's about the same, you're fine. The loader mount could be considered a bonus. The parts for the loader are available. I've checked for a friend that destroyed his loader in a traffic crash. (lost the trailer, trailer hit tree) OUCH!

Got a reply from the dealer this morning.

"We boughht this unit from Kubota directly - it was either a; lease return, from Kubota Dealer inventory or may have been a repo). Before we purchase - we verify using the Kubota on-line computer system that this was a One Owner machine, and that there was no significant or chronic service or warranty related issues"

Whats even more interesting is that it came from one town over from me, likely sold by my local dealer.

It was sold by my local dealer with all of the attachments. They have the name of the guy who purchased it but that's it.

BimmerRacer, theres an FEL & BH somewhere that came with it. Kubota didn't sell a BX23 without them and it'll take some very "major" fabbing to put an OEM BH on a BX2XX0.

It's already got the FEL mounts & joystick and I bet the BH subframe is still on it also. (look to see if theres two hooks at the bottom on either side of the tow bracket. The bottom of the BH sits in those hooks).
Having those additional attachments will more than double it's value. It may pay for you to do alittle more investigative work on it. Who knows, you may find the FEL & BH collecting dust in a barn somewhere close, as well as the MMM.......
Why have a grass collector without a MMM?
Good luck

Just another of the many things that don't make sense about this deal.
Removing the BH and Fel leaves A value of $8100 for just the tractor without the BH and Fel.
The 8100 is cost new not used.
Used I'd not want to pay over 4 to 5 thousand.
