This is not a sticking pedal. This is a disconnect, that unit just rolled to stop like a car thrown in neutral. Noticeable in forward, down right dangerous in reverse. Anyone know what Charge pump port adjusting is, sounds like a internal hydrostatic issue.

That is the exact issue that some BX tractors had 4-5 years ago. They would continue to roll forward and reverse when your foot was lifted from the pedal, sometimes for many, many feet. It is likely NOT internal issue but a dampener adjustment or something similar. Many, many threads about it if you would take the time to search.

After making the adjustment I find that things have improved in forward mode but not all that much in reverse. But oddly, it seems that the higher the RPM's and the faster the tractor is moving when I take my foot off the pedal, the sooner it slows to a stop in reverse.
If moving slowly in reverse and I remove my foot from the pedal it seems to coast a little further.

Edit: the last link posted by John above greatly improved the forward motion coasting. The part about the pedal linkage, not the spring tension adjustment. Now it stops when I let off the pedal while moving forward. In reverse I still have some coasting but not as much. To be on the safe side I cover the brake pedal when reversing.

They said they fixed problem so I drove the hour to test it again. Dealer principal handled the meeting. Still rolled on and he knew this tractor deal wasn稚 gonna happen. There's a reason why that unit has an issue, why no one can fix it is problematic.

I've owned 30 Kubotas with all HST but one and only one gear drive. I purchased the famed snap your neck reverse BX2350 (50 series) and after a few months returned it for trade in to Barlows. I did get a financial incentive due to my complaint. Many years later I bought a BX25D which did exactly like you've described. It un nerved me to let off the pedal and it keep rolling especially since many others had always stopped when the pedal was released. I took it to Barlows and they adjusted it but no where near right so returned it and drove it down the hwy from my location to Barlows, about a mile. One red light along the way and I had it in rabbit and top speed and let off for the red light and guess it rolled over 30' and even then had to apply brake. They could never fix it and so good bye BX25D which was defective, period and I knew it from many other Kubotas. The RTVs will throw you thru the windshield if you do quick let off of the pedal but they can be eased off for never using the brake and stop smooth if let off easy.
Move on to one that stops right and never look back at that defective or like the 50 series one that they could never fix so Kubota redone it and came out fairly quickly with the 60 series which stopped correctly in reverse and forward.

Had my B8200 hst for 32 years, B2601 for 3. Both stop almost immediately forward and reverse. Dealer called and said they got it better this time. No thanks, gonna have to try and fool someone else into buying it. Thanks everyone for the input.

I would say "It's not for me". The reason for the test drive isn't to just check a box, it's to make sure you are happy with your potential purchase. If the dealer thinks they are all the same then either try a different dealer or brand.

I think that is a wise move. I checked my BX2200, that used to stop on a dime, and after not greasing the directional pedal for over ten years, it now stops in 12 inches...

I would be afraid of that tractor you test drove...
