BX24 Comparable Models

IMHO, they are close enough in specs, and if in your area the price is a wash, go with whichever dealer seems better. Being a complete noob, the dealer was important to me

I have two Kubota dealers - both EXACTLY 25 miles from me. MF dealer is, guess what, 25 miles from me. All were good dealers, but one had the slight touch that pushed me over. JD was actually closest (12 miles) good dealer as well, just a bit pricier and I liked that MF and Kubota came "standard" with BH.

You can split hairs over specs, but you can't lose either way

The direct comparisons are the jd2305 (green) the Massey GC2310 or now the GC2410 coming out soon (red). I don't think that the blue company makes a scut TLB. Their TZ line is along the same size as the BX though.

What about the Simplicity Legacy ?

Some times all a bigger tractor can do is get in it's own way.

That's a lawn tractor on weak steroids! I don't think that is in the same class as 24 or 2310 or TZ.

Actually, I am an engineer for an Aerial Mapping company. I just can't stand people that come on to this site with their "facts" that Kioti bought plans or copied older version Kubotas. I have had my tractor for 2-1/2 years now and it has been so great that I like to defend it and tell others how great it is. Here is the post from when I bought my tractor, my great dealer was even cool enough to post pictures as they were preparing my tractor.

I can lift double what that BX24 can and still go through the 48" gate.

I have one of those Chinese 30 hp bulldozers that was originally purchased from Artrac in western Arkansas. Great bunch of people there and helped me several times with a lot of good advice. Always had time to talk to me and reminded me once again that there are some really fine people out there selling and servicing rural equipment. They are also a Kioti dealer and caused me to have a huge interest in those tractors. Almost bought from them, but they are a couple hundred miles away and getting service or additional parts and implements would be difficult. I ended up with my kubota from a local dealer here in my home town who is another example of good pricing and outstanding service.
I can easily imagine your satisfaction from that Kioti and hope it continues to serve you well, as I know it will.
Bucky4, the differences in the weight, capability and power numbers between the BX and the Massey are mostly noticeable on paper. In the field either unit will accomplish the same task with about as much ease as the other. Shop with dealer convenience, price and how each one feels to you and those who will be operating it. I looked at them both before I decided to get something a little bigger and honestly couldn't tell you which I would prefer. I was and still am impressed with them both.

Hardly half, but I'm no engineer.
