Hi folks. Sorry for the lack of response from me on this issue. been a bit busy with other things. The tractor had to wait.
I finally took the fuel lines apart yesterday and had no flow from the tank at the first filter hose. Blew it back with compressed air and voila. Good flow.
Emptied the tank through the open line and it flowed well until it was empty.
Took a coat hanger and made a swab with a clean rag. Swabbed out the tank and out came a big chunk of curly plastic some particles that looked like wasp wings and some small straw pieces. The plastic looks like trimmings from the tank when it was molded. Easily enough curly plastic stuff to plug up that small line.
Hopefully I got it all. It would be a nasty job to pull that tank outside in the cold.
Ran it for three hours or so afterwards cleaning up the barnyard and it's like a new machine again!
