bx24 hard stop in reverse

I just spoke with my dealer. He says Kubota tells him that they increased dynamic braking in reverse due to people backing into things. We tried half a dozen on his lot and they all have this problem.

Did your dealer know how to decrease dymanic breaking?

I also have a BX24 and this is my only complaint.

He said it was an internal funtion of the transmission and did not appear to be adjustable. He is trying to get more information. He has several people unhappy about the change to the transmission.

My BX24 will stop on a dime as they say...it will darn near pull the front wheels up, when Im in high gear. I notice in low gear, it stops real smooth.

The word I have is "They all do it." The problem should (maybe) abate after use.

Now that I have about 17 hours on the machine, it does seem that the hard stop is letting up a bit. Of course it could be that I am compensating, but I havent lifted the front wheels in a while

I have 50 on mine and it is still severe. I did here that Kubota is working on a fix for this...........stay tuned.

Same here. I now have about 45 hours on mine and I've noticed no change at all.

Make sure you keep us posted on what you heard...I'm all ears!!!!

I assume that the other new modelsb (2350 and 1850) have the same issue. Its one of the many things I like about HST, how relatively gentle it is on the tractor and our bodies. This makes me think Kubota did not thoroughly test it. One other faux paux Kubota made was with the L48 and the hydraulic self leveler, the fix was simple to change the new models to a manual self leveler.
