BX24 Price Check

Hello,

I'm in the process of deciding what tractor to purchase and after much research I've narrowed my search to the point of talking price with the local dealer. I've received the following initial quote:

BX24 w/ R4's Loader and Backhoe - $16,350
60" MMM - $1,900

Both prices before taxes.

I've searched previous posts regarding pricing on the BX24 and the price I received seems a little higher. I called a few other somewhat local dealers and their prices are right in the same range. Have prices gone up on the BX24 the last few months or is north central Ohio just a higher region?

Thanks for any insight you might be able to lend.

I have a tractor headed out to north west PA in about two weeks. I could throw a BX24 on the same load. Our charge would be $15,500 for the tractor, $1600 if you would like a mower deck, plus a delivery charge around $350 depending on where you live. Let me know if we can help you out.

I paid 16k even for a BX24 TLB (no mmm). This was in Sourthern NH. Great Dealer!

Neil, just let me know when you will have a BX 2350 headed out to California to throw on for me. Fine cut MMM, mulch kit and/or bagger and a loader as well as turf tires. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

The Messick quote above is exactly what they told me when I called the other day about the B24. $15,500 and they were the cheapest of 3 dealers in my area (they are 2hrs from me).

Neil,

Thank you for the offer. The savings is attractive but I'd prefer to work locally for future service needs.

When it comes time to deal, I'll see how much room the local dealers have to move.

I bought my BX24 about a month ago for 14,800 no MMM from a local dealer. They had started at 15,900 but Carter is within driving range for me and my dealer matched the price. I expect you have some wiggle room.

Mine was 14200 and I added the 60''mmm for another 1300.

Pay no attention to anything LBrown says. He does not own a BX24. He has been asked repeatedly by dozens of members to provide evidence of this and never does. He also has made all sorts of bizarre other claims such as:

-Being able to get license plates for $5.
-Mobile homes are stronger than traditionally constructed houses.
-He builds decks with 2"x4" joists and claims they are stronger than decks with 2"x10" joists.

These are just the tip of the iceberg. He never responds to requests to show evidence of any of these ludicrous things. LBrown has stirred up more discontent here than you could imagine. He loves to provoke arguments. Ignore him.
