I'm being told Kioti has even got a kit out to reinforce the older FEL lift arms. It's apparently some kind of sleeve or strenthening device to be bolted on each side of the arms near the torque bar connecting both sides of the FEL.

Yes, there is a kit/bracket that goes around the torque tube on the 120 and 130 loaders. Although the 130 kit does not fit all loaders. I find the 130 kit to be a bit more substancial, but then it needs to be, too bad they can't make one kit for the 130's that fit all the loaders. Apparently there is enough difference in manufacturing tolerances from the different vendors that the kit won't fit all. This is not an issue from everything I have been told about the 120 loaders. The same kit will fit all the loaders. You just need to get the upgraded loader where the torque tube goes through the loader arms and you won't have the cracking issue.

I have been told it has much more difficulty lifting the front end when it is in 4wd.
I'm not quite sure I understand this..did they explain why its harder to lift the front end in 4 WD??
Anytime I have ever lifted the front wheels off the ground I could never notice any differance 2WD or 4WD.

I agree, I cannot imagine how being in 4wd would affect the ability of the loader to lift the tractor.

my ck20s hst loader lifts the front off the ground with no problems, and the front tires are filled.

I've had my CK25 where it wouldn't lift: 4WD and brake on hard. Tractor wanted to rock forward to rise and the brakes stopped it. Otherwise, plenty powerful once warmed up at full throttle. Gotta even watch it when pressing down on uneven ground. I've almost turned mine over doing this with the loader. That teeter-tooter wasn't much fun.

Thanks to the posters in this thread. I have made a choice of which class and tractor now. Hope y'all enjoyed spending my money as much as I did.

See the new thread to find out which tractor I selected. Hint: It's gonna be orange and the letter it starts with is "K". Hope that did'nt give it away.

I learned lots chatting with everybody. Hope to see all in my new thread. So long for now.
