BX24 Worklight Connectors

Has anybody with a BX24 found where the worklight connectors are hidden?

I even have the BX24 Workshop Service Manual and that doesn't specify the location. (Or at least I haven't found that information yet if it is there.) It did help in that I now know that I am looking for two connectors. A female on a 14 ga RB wire and a male on a 14 ga B wire.

Yup, using them. They are wrapped in electrical tape in the center of the rear of the tractor, sorta behind and under the seat. You have to really look, they're wrapped to an electrical harnes and dang near invisible.

I installed a work light last week. I accessed connection from the back of the tractor, near the hydraulic hoses, just left of the centerline. They are indeed wrapped tightly in black electrical tape.

One other thought for you. The vague instructions for the light kit showed mounting the light on the ROPS on the left side. There is only enough wire to go about half way up.

I tried this location and it interfered with me getting on and off the backhoe. I moved the light to the right side, very near the top. I chose the right side since I tend to exit the tractor on the left and thus get on the BH from the left.

To get it higher, I added some additial wire, a few crimp joints, and some 3/8" flex sheathing (couldn't find the smaller size). The final install looks OK and the light is out of the way. Also, it can pivot to shine rearward or toward the front.
