Does anybody know the OEM for the BX25 Factory thumb? Or have a picture?
Took delivery of a new machine today, but the driver "forgot" the thumb. Dealer was supposed to have it installed for todays delivery. When we talked about the thumb he said it bolted directly to the stick... however examining my machine today, there is no boss or holes to bolt it too... Such as on the B26 TLB.. not happy as i had arranged for a dumpster to be dropped tomorrow.
This makes me think its a wallenstein or brotek that "sandwiches" the stick... not the cleanest install when compared to on the other TLB's and the aftermarket backhoes with factory bosses for mounts.
Price was $425, so that leads me to believe its a Wallenstein as its more expensive than the BT and 425 is typically what people pay... but the brochure seems to indicate its an optional "Kubota" thumb? I do know that i wont be paying 425 for a BT through the dealer... at least the Wallenstein stores itself, without relying on a top link that needs to be stored separate.
ANy ideas? Ill likely call the dealer and find out whats up... If its a BT ill tell him to refund me the money.. if its a Wallenstein (or similar "Kubota"), ill likely keep it.
