BX25
Started grading the dirt around my new shop this past weekend! I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the BX did the job. I think it would have went faster with a box blade rather than the rear blade I had on. Will probably end up picking one up, is 5ft too big for a BX25? Here are a few pictures as work progressed. Ill add more as I continue work on around the building. If anyone has any suggestions on other ways to level besides blade or box let me know! Hope you all enjoy!

Nice work.

I'd say 5' is too big, it's not the box blade that get's to heavy it's the load it picks up. With my 4' the tractor wants to keep going but it runs out of traction once the box is about 3/4 full.

That's what I assumed would be the case. Lots of 5'+ on CL. Guess its an excuse to buy something else new. Will the box do a better job than my rear blade? Thanks the shops been a long work in progress! Just about got it wrapped up!

If your moving dirt it will work better, if your trying make a grade I think the blade would be easier to use.

To me the boxblade is one of the best al;l around implements going. It'll dig, it'll add counter weight for FEL, it'll level out to an extent land and practise helps. To finish off land for seeding, after digging, moving and basic leveling then the RatchetRake is hard to beat and especially for the price. It also has a few extra uses.

Great looking shop! I just started clearing bush for mine!

I have the Land Pride BB0554 box scraper which is 4 1/2 feet and it works great with the BX25. Would highly recommend it or the BB1554 which is a slightly heavier build but was sold out when I went to get mine.

Stay away from a king Kutter xb or the little 4' at tsc. With the 3PH all the way down the box blade is just barely on the ground. I think that box blade is for a limited cat 1. The heavier (lbs per ft) the box blade the better it will do.

I've had the King Kutter xb box blade since 2006 on my bx. I would recommend it. Mine has worked great. Graded my hillside for 100 tons of boulder walls, grades ATV trails through the woods and many more projects around my property. No problems with contact on my bx2350

My Kubota dealer felt that the 54 inch was too big and that I should go with the 48" land pride. Has both in stock. But wants $678 seems pretty high priced. Really wish I could find a used one. Is that a fair price?

Looks like great work! I got a long way to go if I wanna yard like that!
