I had to make a change a year ago. Sold my BX outright to an diesel engineer from Ford, Dearborn. He drove 3 1/2 hours up here to buy it. It was precisely what he wanted. He even worked his cell phone, calling every Kubota dealer from billboards he saw on the way up asking price/availability on an MMM for it. It was a good deal for him and I pocketed well over a grand more than the dealer(s) offered on trade. I got a B2320 and he got his BX. He even stopped on the way home and picked up his MMM.

I know all about the time wasters who respond to Craigs listing looking to get something for nothing, but they aren't all this way, thank goodness. Miss the BX? Sure, sometimes, but absolutely no regrets and I doubt you'd have any either. Shoot, in 3 years, you could always trade back down to the NEW BX. :D:D JohnThomas will tutor anyone on this.

Go for it. If a cab is what you want, you'd not likely ever get a better deal. I like pushing the price up to list on the new one, thus giving a lot of room to give you more on trade, to avoid a higher sales tax figure, I presume.

Do yourself a favor and insist on a box with all 7 (?) filters and a gallon of SUDT-2 to seal the deal.

Looking at your numbers and website prices around the traps , I think
your Dealer is offering you a reasonable upgrade option . The equipment
that you're looking at is in a different league . That cab spec is something
to covet :cool2: . If you intend to stick with the B for years ( and in
a snowy State ) then you'll get real use of it . The search for a blower
will begin the week after you get the tractor ;)
I've driven one over here ( air-con was glorious  ) and they're
not too quiet inside . Couldn't hear the radio :( . The engine has
heaps of low-down-torque . Not the supermini rev like mad stuff we
currently have .........
It's ALWAYS easier to spend up bigger , after a year of forgetting
the last big spend-up , but if you're good for it then go for it.
ALL this stuff makes home purchase look cheap . My place would
set me back USD1.15M these days , yet I still look at the auto shop
specials , gas prices , Target discount days ....
Money in your hand is easy to "see" , but large cheques ( checks ) don't
seem to be real ( if you get my drift ) money . 60 months is a go , too !

PS We want lots of photos of the cab , please .

One can buy alot of DEET with 15K... Although black flies don't bother me all that much. They're a fact of life.

You must not taste very good..... those suckers are always flying into my eyes, ears, etc ! They're almost worse than skeeters.

Ive used 99% deet and even rubbed it into my hair. The black flies laugh at it as if its perfume. There bite is certainly more viscious than a skeeter.

Ive used so much deet this summer I probably have cancer!

Theres ALOT of other reasons to "upgrade" to this. I always felt the BX was undersized for my property. I got my BX at such a good price I was ahead of the game from the start. Ive since beet them up even more to where the payment is basically what Im paying now. My BX is certainly starting to rack up the hours and warranty is up this october. Still on the fence though. BX has treated me good, with a few exceptions.

I agree I think a cab radio is a waste. While the cab is quieter, its still a diesel tractor and you definetely know it.

BTW, im selling my four month used reconditioned BX2750D snowblower. I am not selling it with the quick hitch or midline driveline kit. If anyone is interested PM me with an offer. I can email pics. Looks brand new, with new gearbox.Very little wear on everything else.

contemplating . Envy , envy ....... :D

I'll disagree on the radio..... I use mine all the time. Nuttin better than blowing snow or mowing listening to good music to pass the time. I also use the radio with the windows open while planting flowers or whatever, don't always need to be in the tractor to enjoy a little music. In my tractor vids on youtube, it is the radio playing in the cab, not music I've dubbed in. I will say that i'd opt out of the Kubota (Panasonic) factory radio though. Get the Kubota box and put any single din car radio in it. You can buy three times the radio elsewhere for what Kubota wants for their Panasonic radio.
