Pretty dang happy with mine. Can't imagine without it now and never considered removing it. I think you will be happy when it 'finally' gets there.

Now that it’s later in the year I am kinda hoping that it will show up sooner then later. I will post before and after pics of what I need it for if it lives up to its reputation.

I bought a bunch of stuff for my BX between October last year and April-May of this year. It was always 1 week for production and 1 week for delivery up until towards the end of April of this year.

^^^^^^ That’s nice to know, Thanks.

Yup. I keep mine on all Summer, then remove it when the snow comes in order to put on another great BXpanded.com product – the bucket expander! Doubles the heaped capacity of the bucket, and great for moving snow.

Also, I can still use my BXpanded.com bucket forks with the toothbar on. Great product, and tough as nails.

My Piranha bar was sent out today so hopefully I will get it Wednesday or Thursday.

   / BXPanded contact? #128
So I ordered the Piranha bar on 8/25 and it showed up today 09/11, not to bad but now I need to drive out to my other property and see if it fits, I measured it at just under 47.50 so I ordered it at 47.25 like the sizing info says but on the order itself it says 45.50 even though I wrote 47.25 in the add info box, well will see how it fits later today.
I am really excited to see how it works when I use it to clear a overgrown area, will do before and after pics.

Ordered Piranha bar on 8/14, got it on 9/09.
Installed it, decided that I don't want to wrestle with
the weight of the bar every time I don't need it, so I
cut the slots longer, now I can loosen the bolts, slide
it forward and flip it up and out of the way.

That is a very good idea! I haven't had a reason to take mine off since I had it but this adds the option without of the fuss of lifting it and cutting the **** out of myself trying to reposition it back in place.

I am with you on that idea, I like it and I will copy it also because I have forks to use and a ball hitch to use on the bucket.

Yeah, I dropped it during the initial install, luckily I was
able to get out of the way, or I could have lost some toes!
Was gonna post a quick video clip showing how easy it is to flip it up, but I couldn't attach it...
I'm sure you all get the idea.
Best part is that when it's up, you can use the original edge again if needed

Started thinking, "Wondering if there is a Piranha Bar that will fit my BH" ?

Ground is like cement for about 15" !

My OEM Teeth on the Bucket are wearing some, not enough to get me to jump at a new set, unless it was a low price, but I thinking on getting something sooner than later !

They make the Piranha bar 33 inches up to 110 inches, I would think they would make a smaller one for a BH bucket, give them a call and maybe you would be the 1st, who knows I think it would be a asset on a BH.

Being able to use the straight blade is nice plus you don’t need to store it anywhere unless you need to use the whole bucket.

Jim.

Thx for the reply.
I need a 12" unit,
The SoCal ground, and as I have stated before, is like cement, and I need something that will tear into the ground with the slightest of pressure from the BH... that my friends would be the best thing ever.

Since I have started reading this Thread, I have thought on the idea... maybe it is time to react to it !

I sent an e-mail to BXpander, asking about three of their Tools:
1) Piranha Tooth Bar in a 12" model for a BH.
2) BH Ripper for the Max28.
3) FEL Expander for the Max28.

I am really not expecting a good response but the tool ideas are great.

Guess I got lucky. I ordered my Piranha Bar on September 1st and received it on the 4th. Playing with the tractor, I was able to pull up a 4" tree from our yard, roots and all. This thing is great.

Think I will make it out today now that it is not raining anymore and it is drying out, will give the PB a good first workout this afternoon on that area of briars/brush or as I call it thatch.
