Kubota BX23
I thought I would share my experience with the new company mentioned here on TBN, BXpanded.
Last week, I contacted Harry at BXpanded about products they offer for the BX series tractors. He immediatly sent me an email with more detailed info. I decided to order the removable bucket hooks and seat back pouch. Harry promised that it would be sent out on Tuesday and he did send an email confirming that the package was sent. It arrived on Thursday by USPS priority mail.
I was very pleased with the quality of the bucket hooks. It is obvious that a lot of thought went into their design. The welds are clean and they are painted Kubota orange. They take seconds to mount and snap into place. I can take them off in seconds to put my grapple on. I have not put them through any tests yet, but I can say that they seem very secure.
The seat back bag is also quality. It came with the bolts to fasten it to the armrest holes in the back of the seat. It is made of a black nylon material and zips at the top. I think it will be great for gloves, sunglasses, cell phone, etc.
Also, to show what kind of person Harry at BXpanded is, he sent a note with the package explaining he overestimated the shipping charge which was $12.95, and returned three dollars cash inside the seat back bag!
So, for other TBN members thinking about ordering from BXpanded, I give them a "thumbs-up".

I second what sailnseagulls said about Harry and BXpanded. I ordered the backhoe dolly, seat pouch and bucket hooks last Friday and they arrived yesterday just as promissed. I put the two bucket hooks and pouch on in minutes and then put the wheels onto the backhoe dolly. I played with the dolly for a few minutes and had it mastered in no time. For anyone that has any reservations about removing their backhoe, I highly recommend the dolly.

Hey, question for Bxpanded if he's lurking. Do the pallet forks fit the BX1850? It's not listed as available for the 1850, but I don't see why not since the bucket design is the same as the BX2350 I'm pretty sure.

CHD, I think they will but the 1850 uses a bucket with just a bit less depth. To bluntly answer your question; I'm not sure, and I haven't been able to locate a BX1850 locally to confirm. Any owners in the Charlotte, NC area?

How do the bucket hooks mount? Is it a cam lock? What is the rod that is bent into a V for? The pictures on the web site are not real clear on how they are clamped to the bucket lip. If it is a cam style lock what keeps it from comming loose? Better pic.s would help.
The seat mounted bag has to be the best ideal I have seen for a BX tool box I will have to order one of them.

Actionaj,
Tried to answer earlier but the server went down.

It is rather like an overcenter camming lock. The "V" shape is the handle you push down to lock the mechanism.
Hopefully we'll have some installation videos online soon.

That has to be the best idea yet for bucket hooks I bet there are a lot of guys wishing they hadn't welded thier hooks on.

Why?
The only regret I have ever heard is they where sorry they did not do it sooner.

Awww. It doesn't look like there is anything for my BX23. Dang, I really liked the look of those hooks and brush forks!

I emailed Harry and he said that he hoped the buckethooks for the LA402 loader would be ready "soon." I keep checking back at the website, when the buckethooks are available I'll get the seat thingy too.

vrman,
I ordered and have installed a set of these hooks on my BX23. They fit and work fine as the top lip of the bucket is the same on the newer models. You can ask, but I understand the brush forks attach the same way so should fit. Also, you might want to look at the seat pouch..it fits and it's nice.

Yep, looks like us BX22 and 23 owners are out in the cold. That's alright because our tractors are tanks without all that fiberglass crap we just push everything around and...... OK, I give up I am green as heck with envy. I really can't see much difference in the 22 and 23 FEL buckets than the newer ones, hey I'll demo them forks for you BXpanded.:) Nice products and seems reasonable on the prices.

The Hooks, Forks and Seat bag do fit the BX23. The hook will not fit directly in the center due to the extra stiffening ribs from the bucket curl cylinder.

The sprayer will not fit the 23 due to the change in the 3 pt hitch.
Thanks,
Harry

I am interested in the Pallet Forks for a B2620 with a LA 364 Loader. Will they work?

I received my Backhoe Dolly and Bucket Hooks last Tuesday. I assembled the Dolly and installed the Hooks on Friday. The Hooks fit snugly and work great. The Dolly is terrific! This was the first time that the BH pins came out clean, no twisting, no hammering, no maneuvering with the BH bucket. What a great product!!!
My thanks to Harry at BXpanded.

The You Tube vids were very informative. I didn't realize how easily the BH is supposed to come off. Apparently there's some misalignment in my subframe. I can't simply use down pressure on the boom to free the pins...the left one comes out, but the right one requires some joystick finessing to get out. Even then, it sometimes needs "help." I'll have to see if there's enough alignment tolerence in the subframe bolts to get the pins to come out like they should...:(

I see where it is stated on your website the seat bag fits B series Kubotas also. Does this include B series with the newer seat version?

If you mean the updated seat that Kubota started installing several months ago, yes, it fits both old and new. It does not fit seats with armrests and it won't fit the new "Reclining Seat" on the BX2660.
