If not, a simple solution might be to get a male and female QD and put a 90 degree elbow between them so the hose comes to it at an upward angle.

The work looks great as always though. I always am marveled by seeing the things you make.

Thanks Cyril. Glad you enjoy seeing the stuff I slap together. I'd like to post more on tractor stuff but I don't use the tractor in the summer. I did move it the other day because I coated my driveway so I put it out on the lawn. That caused another problem because folks thought I was selling it and dropped by to ask how much :( I had to put a "Not For Sale" sign in the window

Just behind the mill there's an air manifold with three air lines coming off of it. One is dedicated to the pneumatic draw bar. The other was a spare and the last one was for a regular blow gun. When the mill is running that handle you see is not used. I never bring the quill to the work. I bring the work to the quill via rising the knee. Those handles can also pull off and a second and the clock position can be changed. I know the hose looks close but it wouldn't be in the way when in use. Drop by and I'll show you

Here's how it turned out:

I always manage to blow steel chips everywhere using my air gun at my drill press. Oh well, I just have to sweep them up. That's a nice mount you made for the air supply.

Milling or drilling is pretty dirty in the shop and then add some coolant to it and you got one big mess but it's a necessary evil I guess. The wife noticed the chip tray on the mill and said the chips are going everywhere except in the tray  you still need to see what your milling so that's why I added the blow nozzle. Thanks Matt. glad you like it :)

Paul, nice job on the air nozzle attachment.

Thanks Jay. It was a pretty easy idea to come up with and an inexpensive one at that. It's not often I can go that route

Any machining is messy; but I'll take oily chips over sawdust any day.

You should see my oil soaked T-shirt. :D

Ya I'm he same as you on that. As soon as I start up the wood working tools I start to sneeze. That being said I still like to do a bit of wood working sometimes. A couple of years ago my wife and I renovated the full house ourselves.

New windows, flooring, paint and I had purchased a replacement wall oven but we could get one to fit the opening of the old oven so I had to make a completely new cabinet. It took me two days to do it but she was happy and really, that's all that matters when it comes to the house :D

At least I managed to keep everything square
