Really no worries about the emission stuff in south Texas. If it ever gets <15 below freezing here, I doubt using the tractor would be on my todo list

. Besides, was ensured that the 7k series (late 2015 and above, I believe, mine is a 2016) engines don't have the problem any more. They've been using the same basic system on mining crawlers for over 10 years, and its saved a bunch of lives - in that closed in environment, of course. About the only real benefit for me is no more soot in the garage when starting it - even after its been sitting up for the winter - but I guess that counts, as I do have to breath that stuff.
Love it so far. That tall switch grass is now easily chewed up by the extra hp. Having the AC and nearly dust free cab is the biggest plus. Second to that I'd say goes the loaders joystick - having a 'true' 8-way stick is very nice.
About the only con has been the dashboard display. Call me old fashioned, but I'd much rather have a set of needle gauges any day.
