Well, look what the tooth fairy dropped off today. Haloview 7108, 3 cameras, power supply for a remote camera and 3 mag bases. I'll have to fab a bracket to mount the monitor. I know exactly where it is going. Bad thing is I have to go to Phoenix area for a job, probably a month to month and a half. It sucks but I guess that's what has to be done to buy accessories. Sorry for the sideways view. IMG_0843.JPG

So I got the one touch on my loader today and started on the cameras. Easy setup. I just did one for now. Got the monitor mounted on my right vertical post just above the SCV controls. Looks like I will be able to mag mount the two rearward cameras inside the cab in the corners. I have to work on the field of view but I'm sure it will work. Still don't know about the loader mounted camera and battery pack but I'll figure that out tomorrow. I need to get a 5 position rotary switch that fits the switch blanks for the triggering. This is a really nice setup. Seems well made and the cameras are solid. Picture is very clear. Night vision is clear as well. I will post up some pics when I get everything installed tomorrow but so far I like it.

Where is everyone mounting the camera for the loader? I'm looking at my loader and can't envision a place where it would be safe from getting knocked off when I'm moving or clearing brush.

My plan is to fab a bracket on the large cross tube (540M MSL Loader) so that the camera will sit high enough to see over the spill guard on the loader. I'm not as interested in the camera for loader work as much as when I have the forks on but it will be handy for both. The cameras have mag mounts and I got the battery pack for the loader camera so that I can pop it on when I'm using it. I'm really impressed with the quality of the components. Not happy about it being Chino but the USA made ones were all over a grand.

I have Haloview camera on the back of my 35 foot Camper. The quality is excellent! Picture is crystal clear. The camera is very well made and has excellent mounting bracket. You will not be disappointed. I plan to get a couple more cameras to mount in sides of camper for security when parked in campgrounds or boondocking.

Yes. Like them so far. I have 3 cameras.

Did you get the wireless or the wired? I don’t really understand the difference as the camera still require power...I get it if you were mounting these on a tractor trailer setup...but for a rear view and loader mounted camera...what is the benefit for the wireless cameras?

Also, if you have two cameras, does this system allow you to split screen and see both at the same time?

Thanks,

Correct in that the cameras need power but that power can come from a closer source like parking or a backup light rather that from 'up under the dash'.
In a tractor environment I don't see that as a major advantage, in a car, yes as you have all that finishing trim to contend with.
