We are getting a price on a 30x40x10ft tin building and the financing before doing another bid. My spouse in doing long hours so getting her there is tough. With a shed and a tractor, we could move our camper out there for the summer and have fun with trail clearing. As far as we know, no one has looked at the property or bid on it..

Maybe it’s just me thinking out loud but the beavers have created a somewhat natural spillway. I think I’d just leave it as is unless you want to give that Kubota a workout when you buy it.

The water is passing through it. If you don't give high water a durable way to pass through it at high water, you'll have a complete washout. Similar to this photo but using a culvert for your overflow. Its a emergency spillway in the drawing.

60 years ago, my dad built two ponds like that. It is a good design

I actually worked on a couple of projects where we improved emergency spillways with reventmat mat. These were for pretty good sized lakes. Does this pond even have any kind of constructed spillway at all.

No, today it just goes over the top or through the Beaver improvements.

I had to Google reventmat. We have used "fabriform" in the past on slopes and ditch paving. Seems the move over last few years has been away from it, for some reason. It's a good product. but very pricy.

Yes Fabriform looks to be a similar product.

Arly you could just put a culvert to act as an overflow. The only reason I say leave it as is because it seems to be working but I suppose it could wash out also.
