I see this site as the farm tractor site, not the legal, law, government rules site. I guess I see it differently than you.
This site is far more than a farm site. And advising someone to be legal and safe...why would anyone oppose that.
If you get stopped by the state police or even the locals they will check your GVWR and if you are overloaded you're toast. They won't let you drive and will tow truck and trailer away,,, plus the fine will be very expensive. If you were to get into an accident and were overloaded,,, plan to spend some quality time in jail.
On the other hand, there was someone on here a few months back who tried to haul a fair sized tractor (~40HP Massey Industrial with a loader), loaded it wrong (not enough tongue weight per his pictures), it started swaying and he lost the tractor and trailer into the ditch.I see this site as the farm tractor site, not the legal, law, government rules site.
