I've been using two of the spill proof plastic diesel cans, like the one in WaneB's link. The diesel tank filler is is at the highest point of the hood on my GL3240. So I have to lift the 5 gal over shoulder high
But... the spill proof spout has a tab that actuates the flow. This tab hooks on the lip of the diesel tank opening and will support the full weight of the 5 gal. So once its up there, all I have to do is keep it steady till its empty. That's what the FEL arms are there for -- right
BTW I been putting about an average of 15 hours a week on my GL3240 since I got it in August. IOW I'm hefting 10 gals a week over shoulder high. OldSchool's Duramax 14 Gallon Fuel Caddy sure looks inviting. If it had a rotary pump I'd be in the truck on my way to Northern Tool
