2017 Kubota L6060 HSTC
I bought a new 2015hst with loader last summer while I was building my house and it has been a GREAT tractor, no problems and I've done a lot of work with it
(250 hours in 14 months) but now I find myself wanting a larger tractor (I'm 6'1" \ 320) and I get along fine with the 2015 but it's a little cramped.
I'm wanting to get a 3215 hst but I can't get a dealer to trade with me and no one seems interested in buying the 2015?? Is the resale value of Mahindra this bad??
I bought the 2015 with the posibility of trading in a couple years and I like the Mahindra better than the orange or green tractors but I'm wondering if I'd have this much trouble trading or selling one of the more popular brands ???

What should I expect to get for a 05 2015hst with loader in good condition ????

Thanks!
Steve

I would GUESS atleast 25% less thanyou paid for it.

But that is a common sense guess. How much would a car drop in pricein the 1st 14 months?

the dealer will not take it on trade? i'd be questioning the dealer why you should buy one

I looked real hard at your 2015, but I am wanting something bigger. Probably a 2615 or 2815. Financing is always an issue for buyers!!:( Looks like a nice machine, have you put it in your local paper?

I agree that financing may be an issue. Anyone who buys it would have to finance it as used or with a personal loan at a higher interest rate actually ending up paying more for a used one than a new one. I don't know what you are asking and I'm sure yours is in like new shape but it is still used. A friend of mine has been looking to buy a 2015HST but doesn't have the cash to buy outright and must finance. He's not going to borrow money at 8% or more to buy a slightly used 2015 when he can buy new at 4.99%. I don't know if the warranty is transferrable to one who buys used either. In fact, with a recent sale ad that just came out from a local dealer he may get the 2615HST like mine. I wish you luck trying to sell yours. I don't know why your dealer won't take it on trade for a larger new one. The local dealer in my area sells used traded ones as fast as he gets them.

I guess my point is that you read that used Kubotas and John Deeres sell used for almost as much as a new one.

I don't think 20% - 25% is unreasonable for a year old used tractor but I don't see the other brands selling used for this much less, makes me wonder about Mahindras resale value.

Actually 2 different Mahindra dealers told me that I couldn't afford to trade because they wouldn't give me much for mine and would have to have full retail for theirs on trade, the best deal I've had on trade is for a new Kubota L3400.

It's a good tractor, I'm not going to give it away, I may just end up keeping it and loosing some weight so it fits me better lol :)

They may not sell for that much less used, however my Kubota dealer used the 25% drop for trade in value on a 10 month old Kubota I was thinking of trading in.

Hi,

I like the looks of Mahindra and everything I have read about them.
But ..........
Pricing is funny. I have seem an almost new 201\gear\low hr with a loader with an ask of $8500 on a dealers lot and not moving.
Yet seems Deere\Kubota are just less that you can get a new one for and age really doesn't matter.

I had thought about bringing up the 2015 to Canada but there is only 1 dealer even remotely near me so became a parts worry issue and resale was going to be an big issue. Tough to even get pricing here. Would be closer to order from the U.S than try to get anything here.

It is odd the way things go as Mahindra is such a huge brand with great quality but I never see any advertised here is Canada and, even the Chinese tractors get more ink in sales.

Probably should become a dealer here in Canada.

Anyways, best of luck.

Have a great day
Tom

Morning Steve.
Would your dealer consider putting your tractor on his lot for consignment.
