Caretree tree spade

I am going to look at a 36" 1996 model caretree spade tomorrow. Owner says in excellent condition and used privately. I believe it is a model 536B. Weighs about 1600 lbs. He used it on a bobcat 873 and I also have an 873. Has truncated spades. Hydraulic stabilizers, spades and swing gate. Anything good or bad to watch out for? He is asking $5500.

Personaly, I dont like the truncated style, if your in lose dry soil, you will loose dirt, and, If its sandy,..forget it, tree growers us them the most, but they only dig trees in the Best, conditions, they were designed (flat on the bottom) so they, (the dug trees) would stand up without a jig..
