Price Check Case 5130

tractor 90s CASE 5130 diesel - $16500 seller claims low hours and field ready. Has cab and loader 2wd any thoughts on price and over all info/ experience with them? It's hp is more than needed but it looks like a heck of a lot of tractor for the price. Thanks for your time.

I assume you mean Case IH 5130. They have a 5.9L Cummins engine in them, pretty bullet proof. It doesn't have a turbo like the 5140. Does it have a PowerShift transmission? Big difference between the 5100 series and the 5200 series is no Neutral in the left reverser lever on the 5100 series. Many of these tractors are getting well over 10K hours out of them. Price doesn't sound that bad. Just know there's a lot of electronic solenoids and such on these tractors. If you have an independent mechanic you trust let them look over it before buying.
