Chain Binders

I much prefer the cam type over the ratchet ones. They're way easier to deal with especially when they're 20 years old. The only use I've found where the ratcheting ones would be better it chaining down a tracked machine.

These are what i was looking for but could not find.

They are for sale all over the internet. I bought mine at a local business in Oklahoma City: Edwards Wire Rope - Oklahoma City, OK - Products - Load Binders

They can also be padlocked:

The only time the dealer came and got my tractor - to install grapple, they used six chains. One at each wheel, one on the bucket and one on the rear blade. I asked the driver about this and he said - its the way they chain them all down - from the very biggest to the very smallest.

I bought mine from Northern tool with coupons, forget the final price but wasn't much more then a decent non folding one.

My buddy helped me chain down something the other day and commented about how much he liked them.
No more flopping levers sticking out!
