Changing Vets

Read the story and glad it worked out. I've moved around a lot over the years and have found that if you find a good doctor, vet, pizza parlor, barber, etc., you value each and every one of them. You value them by how they treat you and yours, and the business they provide to you.

I've dealt with parallel situations like this, a few times over the years. More often then not, the employee who shoots their mouth off, no matter the self-serving reasoning, is talking to others to kick their own self-image up a notch.

It's clear she volunteered the information to whoever she was talking to. It's clear as well that she enhanced the story she was telling with her own interpretation of your situation.

You did the right thing by talking to the Vet. The clerks commentary is defensive and she's just trying to cover her own. The word is out, her credibility is suspect and that fact alone will get around. She will carry a grudge against you though. I suspect you are now off her Christmas Card list.:thumbsup:

Well the one that ran her mouth in and old upity female lol. What irked me is when she thought i was in a such a tight I would lend out equipment for a big job she was having done.

My thing with the bill is I know how the economy has us all affect and things here are pretty tight. I would have no way asked to have the bill taken off as I know how much money one can have tied up. I know I have a super sized trucking and tire disposal bill for the job Im on right now.

I also wouldnt have asked to have the woman suspended as she might learn something from this. I think something that has happened this lady has moved here from a big business position where she was over a lot of folks and I know she needs to work like the rest of us. I think she will eventually weed herself out there.

MM wont be the first Christmas card list I ve been kicked off with. I can look at her and grin really big each time Im there now.

Taylor, I agree with Westbrooklawn that you handled this very well. You've done nothing but improve my impression of you as a clear-thinking young man with the best of intentions. I hope the city contract works out great for you and this all fades into a bad but slightly amusing memory. Please keep us informed about your project with the city. You've now tweaked my interest.:thumbsup:

It seems like the waiting and thinking about doing something is often worse than the doing.

I love that she got upset. Upset that she got caught!!! The vet also sounds like a stand up person. Plus with you not suspending her, you come out looking great and I bet it helps your business down the road.

I went in today and dropped of some of my mini balesof straw for animal bedding she just glared at me lol. I really apreciate the advice I got from yall. The city job Im doing is cleaning up an old illegal town dump. Its a branch and leaf dump in a gully but over time chairs and tires got dumped into it. Im donating some of m time as I took a garden class and part of the return pay was donating 40 hrs community service. I also provided them with the removal of the tires and free disposal and took care of the furniture removal. I wont get rich on this but I was given all the compost I want and making some intown connections.
