Just doing an update on my Mobley. I am 7 days into ownership and have used almost 14 gigs. Been burning it extra hard to make sure it's going to work out for me before the 14 days are up. It hasn't stopped working for two days so whatever was going on with that seems to have gone away. That problem seemed to increase when I was using the AR150 router I returned. Still waiting on the AR300M to arrive and try that. Hopefully it will have a good range and not affect any throughput. One thing I noticed with the AR150 was the up data seemed to be stuck at .5 Mbps no matter what the down was doing. My up speed without a router is a moving target but is usually higher than the .5 I was getting through the AR150. I have seen it go as high as 6 up but usually between 1 and 3. Without a router mine seems to be fairly consistent at around 5 to 6 Mbps down so that is a good upgrade from my DSL. I am at the end of the line where they just would allow me to have DSL and they won't sell me any higher speed than 1.5 Mbps. The unfairness for that is it cost the same price as 25 Mbps where available. CL has been advertising up to 25 Mbps for $45 per month with no increase ever but I haven't read the fine print to see if that is a bundled price. They are famous for requiring you to bundle regular phone, TV, and long distance to get their advertised DSL rates.
