Cheap $20 a month Stand Alone Unlimited Rural Internet through AT&T Wireless

I surely can't explain my signal difference. My AT&T cell service sux, basically always has. On the other hand, my AT&T data service via Mobley and Mofi have been quite reliable and usually good enough to give me wifi calling on my phones. I'd like to try T Mobile in my phone if I could find a very cheap way to do so.

Different devices, phone vs. router. My wife's cell and mine are same manufacturer, different generation. Signal strength varies between them.

Voice service may be on a different band.

Well....the manager did not call. I sat down here end of day, thinking I'm going to really rip them in the morning....and the data connection on the Mobley popped green. TWO days dead in the water, then pop it's back.

I will contact them tomorrow, but I'll be asking question as to why their service is like this. Something is cutting it off, and I really don't think it's the device, I think it is their network.

When you lose Internet connection, log into your mobley and see what the signal strength says.

I can't...a big rotating circle covers the display saying connecting.

It came back again about 15 mins ago. I'm done with it for today. I may make them replaced it.

WELL....since my last post, it cratered again, then 15 minutes later it came back. This time I immediately went in and turned the power saver off, since it seems if it loses power, it has trouble reconnecting. In this process I had unhooked the usb cable between the Mobley and the GLAR150. This morning, the Mobley was still up with data connection. While doing some internet stuff, I happen to notice, the usb cable was still unplugged. The GLAR150 is communicating to the Mobley wirelessly. Did not realize that. Speed is good, although I have seen it higher. Did not know it would do that.

Good chance that's related. Have to dig around your settings....

For me, I have to reboot the Mobley without the USB connected, then reconnect. Super annoying, as I'd like to mount it remote for improved signal.
