CK 25 will not start

I just had this same thing happen to mine. I messed with the manual cut off and kept playing with it and it started...............MAN DID IT START
. RUN WIDE OPEN. I think Rick and several other dealers have seen this in the past and my dealer said it is a stuck rack. Guess it can stick closed or open. Reason for me posting is if you do have a stuck rack and you get it started then, YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO SHUT IT DOWN. Perform maintenance carefully with a plan to block off intake air intake if you experience this.

Assuming that Kioti will cover pump any idea if they will send directly to me? Reason being I have a local tractor guy who can install as opposed to having tractor hauled to this dealer some 50 miles from here.

They always want a Kioti dealer to perform the work.
I would call Kioti and explain to them the change over and your experience with the new dealer. They may call the dealer and get you taken care of.

It definitely has all the markings of an injection pump problem. Pretty easy to check. Take the side cover off under the injector pump. With a flashlight, look up under the pump to find the rack pin resting against the governor arm. With your finder or a screwdriver, lightly try to move the pin. If it won't move easily, you have an injector rack failure. DO NOT try to free up the rack and start the tractor. If the gearing in the rack has failed, the rack may stick wide open next time.

Contact your dealer and explain your situation.

Just heard from my tractor guy. It is the injector pump!!I called Kioti and they will cover the pump. I MUST have the work done bya Kioti dealership. Of course that is a 50 mile tow! Kioti suggested I ask if they have a "field technician" to have the pump repaired at my place will save me a bunch of money.

According to Kioti under 2 hours labor. Does that sound right toyou guys who are familiar with this?

Funny the tow will wind up costing more than the labor!!

Shoot I'd tow that bad boy 50 miles if they will warranty it. Sounds like Kioti is doing the right thing for ya.

Darn tootin, $1500.00/50 = $30.00 per mile, works for me, also glad Kioti came through for you.

I'd inquire about the field repair. Mine was done that way. Don't know how long it took cause I wasn't there. Went to work that day with a dead tractor and came home to a sweet running one!

Pump should be in Monday. They (Novia, in Ocala,Fl ) cannot do a house call since they need to reset the timing. So they will flatbed it. Actually very reasonable cost. This time around nice as pie. Maybe just a bad day last visit. Hope the customer service remains as it is and should be. If so I will use them for whatever else I need around the farm.

Well, I now seem to have a dead CK25 too, with 238hrs. It didn't want to start right away, but after the second try it started and was idling, then I went to bump up the rpm's and it started to race so I bumped the throttle back down and it stalled out, then it wouldn't start again. I haven't changed the fuel filter yet, but I'm going to and the air filter just to rule those out.
