CK2510 poor preperation by dealer

I run a Rhino 75 on my CK25. No return to the fill port. Just connects to the rear remotes. I've used it for hours on end. I've only noticed it getting hot once, when I had been working for about 3 hours solid trying to get out a really big double stump. I just took a break. 3 hours nonstop is too long anyway.

When I spoke to the mechanic about fixing all the screwups I asked abut the plumbing. He said that setup is only on the bigger tractors. He said mine would be a return to the valve.

BTW he picked-up on the rear lines being mounted wrong immediately. They had the same hoe mounted on a CK20 on the lot and it was done right. The lines come out the center above the top link and are supposed to have a bracket to hold them in place. They also forgot the rubber boots that cover the levers on the the hoe.

why don't you try writing to Kioti directly and explaining what you have just told us and see if they won't make it right - btw did you pass up other Kioti dealers to get a lower price for this one - most of us do business with folks we like - does the dealer know precisely why you chose him and do you have it all paid off - sometimes a note to the financing folks will get attention too - nobody wants to have their name trashed publicly - they can take a single unhappy customer but it you find a way to hit them either with financing folks or their main supply office - a dealer does not like that and most of the items you mentioned I think are a matter of the local dealer activity----

It's been a few years, but I used a CK20 with a Kioti backhoe (KB2365?) for a while. It didn't have remotes at all. It was plumbed in at the loader valve. Don't recall the details of this. It just struck me that it was more of a PITA to remove the backhoe with that configuration, and it didn't have reusable remotes when the backhoe was off. Just some extra info that the dealer does have some lead way on how they install the backhoes.

Well, that is what I thought about the remote Quick Connect mounting... sounds like they will fix you up.. That first dealer must have hired a 12 year old off of the street. "hey kid, you wanna be a tractor mechanic today"

The tractor is at the local dealer now and the parts are on order. Kioti USA Customer Service is overseeing the whole thing.

One thing I learned from this is, the dealer you will deal with after the purchase may be more important than what tractor you buy. I'm paying for my learning with 4 weeks of time off.

Sorry to hear all your problems with dealer prep.
I'd hate to see your selling dealer work on anything serious if they can't even prep a machine.
My dealer did an excellent job of prep. Tractor came washed, waxed, polished and greased. Perfect.

I think Buggs just summed up a key lesson in this CUT ownership business. As a corollary, if you buy from a quality dealer you won't need to correct his prep mistakes after the sale. Still, any machine can break (especially considering what we do with these machines) so after-sale support is still important.

I got my tractor back today. Bassani Power Equip in Hamburg, NJ took care of all the problems with coordination from Customer Service at Kioti usa NC. They had to order new ROPS supports from So Korea and get new rear remote hydraulic lines. They expedited everything and used next-day delivery. Everything looks real good. The rear lines now come out in the center of the tractor and they are secured with a bracket. Looks like nice engineering. They checked over the entire tractor and attachments and re-greased everything. It took some time but they took care of me. I worked my tractor about 5 hours today. Got a lot of work done.:)
