Price Check CK30 price check...

I got a chance to visit several Kioti dealers on a June road trip
that included NM, CO, AZ, and I discovered several interesting
things. If anyone knows more, please tell!

Some of the dealers were VERY new. Seems that there is a
lot of turnover in the dealer arena.

For the West there is a Kioti warehouse in N Calif and one in
Texas. I assume all Kiotis are assembled at HQ in N Carolina.
Is that true? Where are the other US warehouses? I suspect
Kiotis cost more out West than in the East, due to additional
shipping to the western warehouses.

A new dealer has to buy 6 tractors. They can sell at any
price, even less than cost. I think this happens from time
to time when the dealer is getting nervous and floorplan
payments are due. If a dealer is selling a naked CK30 gear
for $9100, buy it. Quickly. I think their cost is a little under
$11K.

BTW, I love my CK30HST R4. Don't get R4s if you need a lot
of traction, however.

We assembly our tractors here in our shop, a dealer can choose to have Kioti put them together, but we are rather particular so we do it ourselves. They come to us in a crate and we put on the tires, steering wheel, and depending on the model the some 3 pt linkage & misc items, as well as the loaders. There are 3 warehouses that whole goods come out of and you mentioned all of them. They have there own ports for each warehouse and do not ship from NC to Texas or Cali. I believe the Mexia, TX warehouse ports in Houston, TX so they don't have far to go.

Ok i called after doing some checking...the business is listed and is "in" business. I talked to Harold himself and yep he has one CK30 Gear at that price. He did say he is not too keen on the Kioti HST saying it needs more power...take it for what it's worth. Soooo, JoeF i say go grab it, because is i wasn't 800 miles away i would be there now! I'm with you redrocker. The power difference has got to be un-noticeable. I still say it's preference thing. If someone is worried about a horse or horse and a half, then maybe they should buy the next model up. My .02.......(although I don't want to start something).

Part of the answer is in depratt_Equip post. You have to read in to it a little bit but the answer is there. I will "NOT" under any conditions buy from this man.

To repeat some one's else statement. "Something is Fishy"

I visited Wallaces dealership today. After visiting my 4 local tractor dealers, I travelled almost 3 hours to see what he had to offer. Besides Kioti, we sells Mahindra and Benson (sp?). I was impressed with how the Kioti was built. I was more impressed with thier honesty and knowledge of the product line. I will be buying from Wallace within the next fews weeks and I have all the trust in the world in thier product and dealership.

The prices I got were right in line with the prices I see on this forum for the models listed.

Forget JDs and even Kubotas when the best value is Kioti. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Congratulations ed, wallaces from what ive seen here seems like a stand up dealership, a quality dealership is very imporatant today. Im sure you will love your new Kioti.. Matt
