I'm in. My BX pedal sticks. I had the dealer check it at 50 hours. He said nothing was wrong. It still sticks at 90 hours.

87 hrs and the threadle doesn't stick and the bracket hasn't broken. The fuel sender tain't leaked yet nor has the front axle. So I ain't interested in no class action suit yet, but.......................................................... ask me if/when said afore mentioned common malidies of said BX do occur to me, I'll probably sign on then /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now if'n you want to talk about the too-tall ROPS or to short steering wheel then thats another story /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Don't have a BX but I have an L4610 that the throttle sticks on. I have been over, under and around it, oiled, greased and cussed it, but it still sticks. Wonder if they used the same type cable on the BX that they used on the L4610?

I can tell you what worked for me... Trade it in on a B7610. Problem solved.

You can count me in.. I've had my BX back to the dealer twice for the sticking hydro and it still sticks. I've sent emails to Kubota and have called them with no results.

I've learned to live with the problem but it is dangerous. I nearly drove over an embankment once when my pedal stuck.

Part of the email that I sent to Kubota
( Over the weekend I had a problem develop with my BX2200 that is
of concern to me. I was mowing grass, traveling down a slope. As I
approached the bottom of the slope near an embankment I let off on the
speed control to slow my speed to make a turn and the speed pedal stuck in
the full forward position (low range). Fortunately I was able to recover by
pushing back on the speed pedal but I came close very close to the edge of
the embankment. I took the tractor back to my garage and inspected the
speed control pivot points and linkage. I cannot see where it is binding.
I applied more grease through the zerk fitting and it seemed to be OK. I
used the tractor for a couple of hours on Sunday and the problem occurred
again.

Our first plan of attack is if all that feel that the hydro pedal sticking is a safety hazard, to file a report with the U.S. Government Product Safety Commission at this web page. You can also report an incident or unsafe product by calling toll-free at 1-800-638-2772 or by sending an e-mail to info@cpsc.gov . The important thing is that once they start getting reports that they open a investigation. This doesn't mean that Kubota is going to co-operate, or even fix the problem, but it will start the ball rolling. If after the CPSC investigates the alleged problem, they can order a recall if they feel that it is warranted.
When filling out the on-line form, the victim will be you, the operator. Here is a quote from the web page with my adding the bold type for emphasis.

( The term ‘Victim’ covers any individual killed, injured or exposed to a possible product-related hazard and
does not imply that the product caused an incident. )

Remember, this is the US Government, and they don't move very fast, unless there is a major amount of complaints. The more people to register a complaint, the more likely it is that they will act. The sooner that they act, the sooner that our machines might be repaired. There are no guarantees that this will work, but if we don't try, then it will be our own fault that we will have to endure this problem. I know that there are thousands of BX owners that read TBN..... now is the time for all of those owners to unite for a resolution to this problem.

The air cleaner broken bracket problem isn't going to be an issue that they will consider, since there is no safety factor involved.

Not me. Even if mine was sticking I don't see where it would be a safety issue. The hydro pedal pivots in the middle. If I want to go forward I push with my toes. If I want to stop I push down with my heel.

I've read that the sticking hydro pedal was with the early models, I have a 2001 BX 2200 and haven't had a problem with the sticking pedal, but the air filter bracket did break and the dealer gave me a new one same as the original and it also broke, I fixed it myself and has not broken since. I assume that there have been thousands of the BX's sold and we have seen a small number with problems. I would buy another in a heart beat, but I don't think I'll live long enough to wear this one out. MTCW. Don't be afraid to go ahead and make her day.

Man I feel bad for you guy's. You would think a big company like Kubota would fix there problems. No pass them on to there owners.
