Clean/etch concrete for paint--- advice needed

/ Clean/etch concrete for paint--- advice needed #11
I think venting will be your biggest issue. It might be fine if you do it in sections and have a nice big blower running to move the air around. You don't have to leave it on that long and although it might discolor the metal, especially if it is painted, it won't be on there long enough to do real damage.

You will need to do something to get the curing residue off the concrete. The TSP thing might be worth a try, though that is a big floor to scrub!

I just resurfaced a cement pond and used a sandblaster to clean the concrete. But that would leave a rough surface to fill with the paint. On the other hand it would give a great bonding surface.
