clearing codes on John Deere

My JD 4720 is having an ERR202 which is IAT out of range. The wires had been cut by mice. I spliced them together and am still getting the error. I respliced them to make sure my connection was good. Same error.

Do these tractors store codes? Do I need to clear it or is that ERR202 mean the condition still exists? Not sure what to think there.

Have you tried to disconnect the battery and let it sit for an hour or so to allow any capacitors to drain off and restarting?

I don't know if it will work on JD tractors but I have used this on vehicles to clear codes. It's possible you might get lucky and the code will clear.
